Pure Clouds was established as a company in 2017 but it's roots started much earlier under the Michigan Medical Marijuana Program's caregiver system. In 2011 it's founder Juan decided to join the state's caregiver program and began to cultivate medical marijuana. He quickly fell in love with cultivating and the joy of being able to provide a clean high quality medicine to his family and friends that needed it. Throughout the years of cultivating Juan was able to accumulate over 30 top shelf strains that were hunted from seed. Since these phenotype of each strain were handed selected their unique to only Pure Clouds were dubbed as Pure Clouds Originals.  The strains were selected to have the best bag appeal, smell, taste and potency. All strains have been tested by a local accredited lab and have tested above 20% in THC potency.

In June 2017 Pure Clouds decided to enter into the most prestigious cannabis competitions in the United States the High Times Magazines Cannabis Cup.  This was the Midwest Cannabis Cup edition which encompassed not just Michigan but the entire mid west of the country. We won 3rd place in the toughest category Hybrid Flower with our most famous strain "LSD".  In June 2019, Pure Clouds entered the High Times Magazines Michigan Cannabis Cup and won a 3rd place in Sativa Concentrate. This winning concentrate was made from a strain named Bahama Mama. In August 2019, Pure Clouds took home (2) first place trophies from another competition named the Hempcon Cup. LSD won the best Sativa Flower category and Bahama Mama won the best Non-solvent category.

Beginning in spring of 2021 Pure Clouds will be starting construction on their brand new cultivation facility in Michigan. This facility will built from the ground up and customized to utilize the newest in energy efficient LED lighting and water management HVAC systems.   Pure Clouds will be a licensed cultivator in accordance with the Michigan Medical Facility Licensing Act (MMFLA). By the end of 2021 we are hoping to supply provisioning centers and processors with the highest quality medicine at an affordable price. That way we can share these one of a kind Pure Clouds Originals with the patients who need them the most.
